Sites Visited: Jaffa (Yafo/Joppa) and Caesarea Tour Time: 8 Hours (08:00-19:00) Walking Difficulty: Moderate (the walk through Jaffa will have many stairs) Excluded from the Price: Lunch (typically from $15 per person**), National Park entrance fees (about $10 total per person*) Transportation: Customer provided** Dress & Grooming: Comfortable for walking Tour Description: From Tel Aviv we will meet at the Jaffa Clock Tower and begin a two hour walk through the Old City. We will discuss the work of the apostle Peter in the city, and what became of the congregation here and there will be an opportunity to see some of the local shops and to buy some local sweets. We will then depart for Caesarea and take some time for lunch next to the ancient harbor. After lunch, we will explore the park and consider the example of Philip the Evangelizer and how he may have viewed his new assignment. We will then discuss Peter's arrival, followed by Paul and Luke and how they would have prepared Cornelius and the congregation for the events of 70CE. After this, we have the option to return to Tel Aviv or continue on to Haifa. Timeline: Begin Tour of Old City: 08:00 Depart Tel Aviv-Jaffo: 10:30 Arrive Caesarea/Lunch Break: 12:00 Begin Tour of Caesarea: 13:00 Depart Caesarea: 16:00*** *All prices in US Dollar, VAT included. **Due to insurance reasons, the customer must provide the transportation. If the customer rents a car, but wants us to drive, we will provide the information needed to be added as a secondary driver. However, this will increase the price of your rental by 17% (VAT). ***At this point, you can return to Tel Aviv or continue onward to Haifa or elsewhere.
Cancelation Policy
Cancellations on any tour more than 30 days prior, are subject to a 5% cancellation fee. Cancellations on single day tour less than 30 days prior are subject to a 10% fee. Cancellations on single day tour within 48 hours will not be refunded. Cancellations on a multi-day group tour less than 30 days prior will not be refunded.
